Four light, quiet rooms on the first floor, each built around a bathing room: a deep freestanding bath set into a tall window, looking out over the treetops towards the springs.

The Spring Suites are named for the waters that brought people to these hills in the first place. We kept them simple so the bath can be the point: pale lime plaster, oak floors, white linen and very little else.

Draw a bath with the light going, open the window a crack, and you can hear the creek in the gully below the house after rain.
